TIRED OF GOING TO THE CAR DEALERSHIP FOR OIL CHANGES EVERY 2 to 3 MONTHS? Do you find yourself pulling into your local car dealership for the standard oil change every 3 months and being told that you need xyz service because your car has approached a certain amount of miles? Do you decline these services because you really just want the oil change? Maybe you are tired of waiting for your car to be serviced and watching TV in their waiting room. Maybe you do not like someone touching your car and driving it or touching it just for an oil change every three months? Was your favorite CD missing when you looked for it later? These are facts that have happened to me and probably many people that go to the dealer when an oil change is needed. Well I got tired of someone handling my car around 5-6 times per year since I drive more than the average person. I was at the dealer every two months! My plans on Saturdays would be interrupted by an oil change because I would have to drive up, check in, and wait. They were pretty good about it being done in 30 minutes, but the fact that I had to go there was like going to the dentist. Once I had to go the following week due to a busy weekday schedule (also known as a day job) because they could not promise it would be done in 30 minutes due to many customers waiting for their car to be serviced. The solution? Synthetic oil that does not break down and lasts for 25,0000 miles or 1 year. I kind of learned myself but a friend of mine who is more experienced changed it for me and that was it! 1 year and not worry about oil changes. Just every 4-5 months I would check the dipstick to make sure the oil level was o.k. and if it was a little bit low due to my car consuming some oil since it has so many miles on it, I would just pour half a quart and go my merry way. Not only did I save money, but hassles and time! The time factor was a bigger issue because I didn't have to worry about an oil change for ONE WHOLE YEAR! Get a friend, a local mechanic, or learn yourself and you will save so much time and hassle. So instead of being at the dealer on Saturday, you can be on the golf course, watching football, baseball, or basketball, or just relaxing at home. I must admit, it was strange to keep driving and driving without changing the oil for a whole year, but I have never had a problem and the oil doesn't turn so dark as with regular oil like it did in the past every 2 months. Even major oil companies are running commercials during football games stating that nobody uses regular oil anymore. Synthetic is the way to go!
